Mission Statement

Inverness Thistle FC – The Highland Rebels

Building on the Foundation

We don’t intend to rewind the clock to the heady days of the carpenters or before that as people may well think, fortunately we left the DeLorean and Michael J Fox and Doc outside Kingsmills Park in 1994 and there is no going back now!!!

Yes, we understand, respect, and appreciate our roots … and we are immensely proud of them. That is the past and will live in our hearts and minds forever.

We at Inverness Thistle FC are a new team with our roots in the past and our eyes firmly on the future.

We welcome a new era and like the carpenters sang we’ve only just begun and we intend to stay for a long time to come.

It’s in our nature, a rebellious streak, a commitment to our community, a chance to give back, a strong belief in what we are doing daily can make a difference in the lives of people within the Highlands, to give people we live, love and work alongside hope, opportunity and a belief in a different way, A community-focused football club.
